Internet Privacy Statement

We make no effort to identify public users of our site. No identifying data is disclosed to any third party for any reason. Data that we collect is used only for Web Site Administration and Web protocol research. No e-mails originate from silversurf-motel.com at this time. We do not spam our visitors!

This statement applies to anonymous interactions with Silver Surf web servers. It does not apply to email sent to Silver Surf Motel staff, Administrators of our host servers, or malicious activity that falls outside our "Terms of Use Policy". Any questions regarding the web site and the privacy policy can be directed to webmaster@clubyachats.com. Email interactions are guided by general (common) net-etiquette practices.

We log http requests to our server. This means that we know the originating IP (e.g. 198.81.129.100) address of a user agent (browser) requesting a URL. We also know the Referrer and User-Agent information accompanied with an HTTP request. We do not log the specific identity of visitors. We analyze log files to determine which files are most requested and the previous site or user agent, which prompted the request.

Our Gallery uses cookies and/or sessions to remember only REGISTERED USERS of the Gallery Module. This makes it possible for registered users of our gallery to upload images and to set personal preferences, etc.

Except for the gallery and the guestbook, our logging is completely passive.... we do not use cookies to maintain any information on our site's visitors.

Requests to our guestbook, search, cgi, dns, mail services are always logged. This data is only used for security administration and researching the efficiency of our systems. We review http requests to identify possible hack, flood, and/or break-in attempts. This information is always reported to the uplink provider of the offending IP. Logged information is kept as administrative and research material; it is not disclosed.
